The author spent the last two years of a twelve-year sojourn in the UK on a small Hebridean island that had been occupied by Norsemen following the Viking invasion of Britain in the 9th century AD. During that stay the author experienced a compulsive urge to put into words the thoughts that were later to become this small volume, which is attributed to the real author of the ideas it puts forward.............
